Frisco Neighborhood Guide: The Grove by Newland

The Grove Frisco by Newland is an award-winning 735-acre master-planned community with beautiful home options and exceptional wow-factor, community amenities.

Launched in June 2018, the Frisco development is unified by the idea of a rooted, connected community – both literally, with nature, as well as among its residents. From parks to playgrounds to trails, every corner of The Grove Frisco's first 25 acres of green space has something unique to discover.

Newland has been crafting communities for over 50 years. They aspire to help families enjoy life together, connect with their neighbors, and enjoy amenities that have been intentionally designed with their needs in mind.

They're renowned for their experience applying a long-term vision combined with a unique development approach for multi-use communities – all while being respectful of the environment.

Green SpaceNewland intentionally preserved a significant portion of the 800+ trees on what is now The Grove Frisco property, with over 60 of those being transplanted. Their goal is to create communities that not only stand the test of time but get better with it.

The total buildout of The Grove is estimated to be ten years from now. Future plans will include commercial development and some multifamily homes across Main Street, along with more green spaces and trails.

Located at the intersection of Custer Road and Main Street in East Frisco, The Grove Frisco enjoys easy access to State Hwy 121, close connection to the Dallas North Tollway (to the west) and Highway 75 (to the east).

It's conveniently located on the doorstep of what is known as the ‘four corners’ intersection, where the cities of Frisco, McKinney, Allen, and Plano meet. This unique location provides access to ample shopping, dining, entertainment, commuting and employment options.

Four leading builders present a variety of models for buyers interested in this relatively new community; Drees Custom Homes, American Legend Homes, Southgate Homes, and Highland Homes. Plans range in size from just 2,200 to almost 5,000 square feet, with prices starting from the $475s up to $1MM.

Home highlights include two downstairs master suites, barn doors, pocket offices, porch swings, craft rooms, family foyers (aka ‘mudrooms’), to name a few.

Newland describes The Grove Frisco as more than a community, but rather “a lifestyle where curiosity and a sense of wonder are encouraged through amenities inviting you to connect in unexpected ways.”

Orchard House is central to the community incorporating an information center where you can learn more about the development and its future. Designed as a modern farmhouse, it also provides a delightful central space for residents to enjoy time outside the home or rent private rooms for special events and parties.
