Inspiration is at Work at Serendipity Labs Frisco

A busy morning recently included a couple of appointments along the North Platinum Corridor, one of which was a drop-in to Serendipity Labs; one of the newest coworking spaces in Frisco.

Still trying to figure out what exactly coworking is? I would describe it as the new hip way to work remotely. With over 20 million Americans now working remotely, a coworking environment offers affordable office space for those looking to escape the isolation of a home office or the noise of a coffee shop.

Serendipity Labs _Team RoomThe typical coworking environment consists of freelancers, entrepreneurs, startups and small teams who want a flexible space to work and the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals.

Refute the Commute

Founded in 2011, Serendipity Labs has locations across the United States. In the fall of 2018, they launched the Frisco space, their second DFW site. With two levels in one of the tallest office buildings at Hall Park, its location proves very convenient for business in the immediate area, while offering access to local neighboring cities via the Dallas North Tollway.

I walked into an inviting space and was met with friendly faces ready to provide a tour. Several people were busy working in different corners of the immediate room that offered a very relaxed feel with modern, colorful décor and tables of choice with high or low seating.

Coffee was on the brew in a café area, and in the distance, I peered down a hallway branching off in what I would later discover was a very diverse range of beautiful spaces and meeting rooms.

A Membership Plan for Every Work Style

Sitting down with Lab Manager, Amanda Acreman, she touts Serendipity Labs as a hospitality-driven space and not just an office rental business.

We want to build a sense of community for members and encourage professionals from all industries to come together and promote each other. Besides hosting a modern but comfortable space to work, we will bring people together at events utilizing outside gathering spaces where possible and embrace business to business networking.

The space has become popular with mobile travelers and enjoys being a part of the Live, Work Play momentum currently on the rise in urban developments in Frisco and the greater metroplex.  It offers a modern convenient space for local businesses to collaborate and meet people face to face or virtually.

Benefits to members include:

Carrie Himel with The Associates Real Estate uses the Frisco location often and describes why she likes it.

I just love the cool modern vibe at Serendipity Labs. It’s my favorite place to work when I need to get the creative juices flowing. Their space is beautiful and conveniently located.

Members can rest assured of the utmost security while working also, as the IT infrastructure meets security and compliance standards including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA.

The first floor is an ideal space to host corporate events and off-site meetings. As a client of Serendipity Labs, Crystal Gornto Founder of Frisco-based HeartStories, describes her experience using the Frisco location for events

The space is fabulous with several different areas to utilize like landings, classroom type seating and high-top tables for a cocktail area plus integrated sound throughout. The staff are amazing, super friendly and so helpful with setting up for our events and were willing to move furniture around to suit our needs. Parking is fantastic as we availed of a covered garage with walkway and a security guard for extra safety.

While Amanda walks us around the hallways, highlighting various size workspace options, I can't help but notice some beautiful art pieces adorning the walls. She explains how Serendipity Labs is partnering with Frisco Fine Art on showcasing local artists and rotating the pieces out quarterly.

Speaking recently about the collaboration, Craig Hall of Hall Group, an advocate of innovation and futurism, stated,

Businesses today are seeking flexible office space options, marketing to the modern employee and future of the workplace. The Serendipity Labs' hospitality-driven model aligns with our view that the workplace needs to be inspiring to encourage productivity and creativity, while at the same time providing a high level of service to employees and visitors.

Looking for a new office space? Why not consider the flexibility and convenience of Serendipity Labs? Drop in for a tour and review their co-working options with membership plans starting from just $49 per month.

Or, consider the space for events and gatherings either once or on a regular basis. Take your business and your productivity to the next level in a welcoming, creative, and inspiring environment.

This is how the workplace should work.
