Santa Sightings: Where to Meet the Big Guy in Frisco

At the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade tomorrow morning, Santa will make his first appearance of the season. It's time to plan your visit with Santa Claus in Frisco!  There are many wonderful opportunities to meet the big guy this year… Indoors, outdoors…and even with your pet! To cut down on the guesswork, we've compiled a list for you, complete with dates, times and links.

Photos with Santa at Stonebriar Centre

Now through December 24th

Generally, the most popular place to meet and greet Santa Claus is at Stonebriar mall, and it's been a nice tradition for me and my children the last few years. While some days it can get quite busy as people line up to take photos, generally a mid-week late afternoon or early evening after school is pretty quiet. Even if you don’t want to purchase the formal photo, Santa will kindly meet with you to chat about all things Christmas.

It's highly recommended that you make an appointment ahead of time, as it will dramatically reduce your wait time.

There are a few days set aside for special events, such as “Grandparent's Day” on Thursday, November 29th and “Holiday Pajama photos with Santa” on November 30th.

For a holiday laugh, try “Ugly Sweater” picture days on November 16th and December 13th. Your family pet can even get in on the fun. Every Monday from 5pm – 8pm (November 12 – December 17) you can bring your pet to visit Santa and get that paw-fect memorable picture!

You can visit with Santa at his workshop and capture a great photo of this fun family evening. Be sure and also check out the Christmas Tree Maze, a new addition to Christmas in the Square featuring over 250 real flocked trees!
