Shop, Dine, and Gather at Frisco Fresh Market

There’s never been a bigger source of tension in my marriage then when my husband asks me where I want to go to eat. This bold question almost always ends in a fight. Mainly because I shrug and say, “I don’t care” when that’s actually pretty far from the truth.

Because as soon as he throws out a few options, I immediately start to dismiss them (women are complicated creatures). That place is too busy. That one’s too loud. We can’t go there with kids! It’s not family-friendly. Nope, not on my diet. Don’t you know I’m not eating meat this week?

Frisco_Fresh_Market_logoSo when he suggested a place where he could get his native Louisiana cuisine, and I could follow whatever food bandwagon I’m on – vegan, gluten-free, organic, fresh, chocolate (always chocolate) – it was a quick yes from me.

Especially when he mentioned wrapping up our meal with these magical words: wine and jewelry.

Frisco Fresh Market. Keeping families together since 2018.

Frisco Fresh Market is an innovative approach to the traditional farmer’s market. Located directly across from Toyota Stadium in the heart of Frisco, Frisco Fresh Market hosts vendors from all aspects of life.

From farmers to winemakers, olive oils to holistic oils, red beets to blackberries, and pet products galore—there’s something for every taste bud, home, or hobby.

Marketplace and Gathering Place

Open for less than a year, the Frisco Fresh Market is part of a planned development by innovative real estate expert Paul Cheng.

Once completed, the market will include approximately 70,000 square feet of both indoor and outdoor space, twelve distinct restaurants, a 2,300 square foot beer garden, a private event center, and a demonstration kitchen.

Currently, the outdoor market comprises 16,000 square feet with more than 92 stalls. It’s open every Saturday and Sunday and can be rented for private events.

Frisco Fresh Market uses this space to focus on weekly family-friendly fun, as well as making the world a better place with booths dedicated to non-profit charities and causes such as the Make a Wish Foundation or the American Cancer Society. In 2020, this space will also include an enclosed one-acre park.

Also in 2020, construction will begin on the indoor phase of the market. This space plans to offer an array of goods and services from coffee beans, flowers, plants, candles/lotions, baked goods, clothing, and many more food and restaurant options.

Celebrate the Good Things in Life

While we wait to take the fun inside, don’t miss what’s happening right now in the outdoor space.

Frisco Fresh Market hosts seasonal and monthly events. You can expect anything from cook-offs to live music and other forms of live entertainment, giveaways and prizes, fun and interactive activities for kids and adults, cooking demonstrations, seasonal goods and so much more.

On the horizon are family-friendly activities including a car show, a “Flavors of Frisco” restaurant event, and free exercise classes. (Find current event listings on their Facebook page or their website.)

You see, when your spouse asks you to pick a place, there’s no need to panic. There’s not even a need to hire a sitter. The Frisco Fresh Market has something for everyone.

And since it’s within walking distance to many nearby hotels, workplaces, community spaces, and homes, the “live, work and play” atmosphere can be enjoyed by everyone. All you need is cash or credit card and empty bellies to fall in love with the Frisco Fresh Market.

So come on out to enjoy the fresh and healthy—and of course the chocolate too (remember, always chocolate)—and let the Frisco Fresh Market save your marriage and make mealtime, shopping, and entertaining fun again.
