City of Frisco Town Hall: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at City Hall, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Meet your city leaders and staff, get the latest updates and ask your questions about what’s happening in Frisco. City staff will be set up in the City Hall atrium beginning at 6:30 pm to answer questions and pass out Frisco-themed giveaways. Or join by phone: dial in with this number: 888-409-5380. Or, join live as they broadcast the meeting via Facebook Live. They will be accepting questions in the comment section of the live feed.

Community

City Council Meeting: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm, City Council Chambers George A. Purefoy Municipal Center. If you’re unable to attend in person, you can watch City Council meetings live.

Kids and Family

Frisco ISD Marching Band Showcase: 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm at The Ford Center at the Star. All Frisco ISD high school bands will present their competition marching shows at the third annual Frisco ISD Marching Band Showcase.

Business and Entrepreneurship

Ladies Who Launch: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at Crest Infiniti. Guests will enjoy a gourmet lunch and light dessert by Crest Infiniti’s Executive Chef, as well a party favor. October’s speakers are Janelle Hail, Founder and CEO of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and Julie Shipp, President of Frisco Association for the Arts and Gallery Director at Collin College.

Wednesday, October 3

Community

Town Hall on Bond and TRE Measures: 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Maus Middle School. A series of town halls about the bond and TRE measures that will appear on the November 6 ballot. Community members unable to attend in-person can tune in online to watch a live stream of the events on the FISD Facebook page.

HeartStories GNO: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm at Crest Infiniti. “Bordeaux and Boards” evening of French wine tasting, charcuterie boards, gourmet dinner, and fine chocolate!

2nd Annual Red River Celebrity Softball Game: 7:00 pm at Dr Pepper Ballpark. Kicking off Red River Rivalry Weekend, this year’s game splits the net proceeds equally between The Toby Keith Foundation and The Roger Clemens Foundation. Singer/songwriter Toby Keith will lead the OU team. 11-time MLB All-Star and two-time World Series champion Roger Clemens will captain the UT, along with other notable celebrities.

Kids and Family

Leadership Prep School Information Night: 6:00 pm in the LPS gym. They currently have openings in grades 8-11 and are hosting an information night to learn more about enrollment in this tuition-free public charter school education.

Peter Max is an icon American artist known for using bright colors in his work. Frisco Arts Walk and 5K: 8:30 am  2:00 pm. Frisco’s first arts-themed 5K along the beautiful grounds of HALL Park in Frisco. Walkers and runners will be inspired by the art of the HALL Collection located throughout the park. The route will include pop-up music, artists, and dancers throughout the scenic path!

Where It All Started Party and Open House: 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Frisco Fine Art. Frisco Arts is celebrating their first birthday! Open House runs from 4-6pm and our Birthday Bash is from 7pm-9pm.
