Monday, October 15


FISD School Board Meeting: A regular meeting of the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees, beginning at 6:30 pm at the Frisco ISD Administration Building, 5515 Ohio Drive. The Board will immediately go into closed session and resume open meeting at 7:30 pm for regular business.

Tuesday, October 16


City Council Meeting: 6:30 pm, 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month at the City Council Chambers, George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval. You can watch City Council meetings live online.

Wednesday, October 17


2018 Women’s CONCACAF Women’s Championship: 7:00 pm at Toyota Stadium. The Journey takes fans along for the ride as players make their bid to be part of the U.S. WNT squad at the 2019 FIFA World Cup in France.

Thursday, October 18


Bonnie Ruth’s Happy Hour: Ladies, start your weekend a little early with Ladies’ Night Happy Hour Specials ALL evening at Bonnie Ruth’s in the Shops at Starwood.

Friday, October 19


Blue Suede Paws: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Frisco Discovery Center, presented by Frisco Area Children’s Theater. Find out what happens when monsters  meet teenagers at the Teen Canteen! Watch this 1950s rock ‘n’ roll show suitable for all ages.


Friday Night Concert Market Night: Following their day hours, Frisco Fresh Market will reopen from 5:00 pm – 9 pm for more fun! Kick-off your weekend with shopping, food, drinks, and live music as well. Remember to bring your dancing shoes, chairs, picnic blanket, shopping bags or anything else you might need to make an evening out of it.

Shopping and Services

Frisco Rotary Farmer’s Market: 8:00 am – Noon every Saturday from April 21, 2018 through October 27, 2018 for farm fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, preserves, handcrafted items and more.

Adopt-a-Dog Month at Frisco Fresh Market: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. The Collin County Animal Services will be at FFM from with a handful of dogs currently up for adoption. Come on out to play with some sweet dogs looking for a new home!


Frisco Fine Art Festival: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at Frisco Fine Art. Tents, food trucks, and of course, ART!


Frisco Chorale: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Frisco’s very own, superb community choir performs Leonard Bernstein’s masterwork as well as other gorgeous choral works. It’s free and you can bring the whole family!

Kids and Family

Trunk or Treat at the Frisco Rail Yard: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The Frisco Rail Yard wants to celebrate fall with a family fun TRUNK or TREAT! Enjoy food trucks, games, trick or treating, live music, local vendors, costume contest, and more! This event will benefit Frisco Fastpacs.

Growing IQ’s Annual Spooky Math Halloween Event: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Looking for a safe, fun, and even educational Halloween activity? Growing IQ is hosting its annual free Spooky Math event for the community. Bring the whole family to enjoy hands-on activities and to win treasures. They’ll have games and activities appropriate for all ages. Wear a costume to enter into a drawing for 3 lucky winners to get a surprise gift.

St. Philips Fall Festival: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. This popular family event, now in its 12th year, benefits St. Philip’s Preschool! Don’t miss this afternoon filled with games, food, a petting zoo, prizes, crafts and live music! Tickets are only $5; available at the preschool or at the door. Bring your friends, too! All proceeds support preschool scholarships and programs.

First Baptist Church Fall Festival: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Bring your friends for games, bounce houses, euro bungee, climbing wall, candy, food, face painting, and a separate, free preschool area. FC Dallas: 4:00 pm at Toyota Stadium. FC Dallas hosts Sporting Kansas City. Following the conclusion, stick around for the NASL 50th Legends game!
