If you live in North Texas, you've likely driven by Frisco's beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark off the Tollway near Highway 121. But have you experienced the many ways to have fun there with family, friends, or co-workers?

About the Team
The Frisco RoughRiders, founded in 2003, are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, which means an incredible list of baseball players have come through this ballpark to go on to play in the big leagues.
More than 150 former RoughRiders have made their way to Major League Baseball, including All-Stars Chris Davis, Adrian Gonzalez, Ian Kinsler, and Neftali Feliz, as well as current Rangers stars Elvis Andrus, Rougned Odor, and Nomar Mazara.
The proximity of Frisco to Arlington makes it possible for the two clubs to work closely together. Texas Rangers players can complete rehab assignments with the RoughRiders then quickly get back to their team when they're ready. Seeing a current Rangers player mixed into the ‘Riders line up on any given night is the icing on the cake to an already entertaining experience on the field.
Supportive Frisco fans have helped the RoughRiders finish first among all Double-A franchises in attendance in each of the last 14 seasons (2005-2018).
About the Ballpark
Opened in 2003, Dr Pepper Ballpark has undergone significant upgrades during the span of its lifetime. When Chuck Greenberg and Scott Sanju led an ownership group that bought the team in August of 2014, it was a turning point for major upgrades and enhancements to the venue and operations.
In 2015, the ballpark received a new HD video board, upgraded sound system, revamped team store and the addition of the Bull Moose Saloon, among other enhancements for the fans. A year later, the world-famous Choctaw Lazy River was installed in the park, drawing rave reviews from all over.
When the spectacular Lazy River opened in June 2016, none other than Dallas Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki was the first to hop in and enjoy it. At 174 feet, it's longer than an Olympic sized swimming pool. Fans can enjoy the cool waters of The Lazy River during games, with food and beverage options available for single-game ticket buyers or groups celebrating a birthday, office outing, or team party.
These ballpark enhancements earned the ‘Riders and the City of Frisco the prestigious “Best Ballpark Renovation” award from Ballpark Digest for two consecutive years in 2015 and 2016.
The Experience
The Frisco RoughRiders know how to throw a good theme night and they're always offering ticket specials to their fans.
A handful of examples? Margarita Mondays, Weiner Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, Fireworks Friday, Sky-Lit Saturday, Christmas in July, Teddy Roosevelt Nutcracker Giveaway, Acapella Night, Nickelodeon Night (featuring SpongeBob SquarePants), FriscoStock (an homage to Woodstock). They love to bring fun to the field.

One of the hottest tickets for kids is the Kids Sunday Fundays at the ballpark. All of the Sunday RoughRiders games have a kids-centric theme where they can also play catch on the field pre-game and run the bases post-game.
The ‘Riders Kids Club presented by InTouch Credit Union is FREE to all kids 12 and under! Members receive free tickets to every Sunday home game plus several additional perks. Rewind that – FREE ticket for kids in the Kids Club, which is also free to join, for each Sunday home game.
Did we mention the Ballpark also launches post-game fireworks every Friday and Saturday game?
Off the Field
The RoughRiders strive to contribute to the North Texas community. In addition to the 70 home games they play in Frisco each season, the ‘Riders host a myriad of events that range from high school baseball games to movie nights to corporate luncheons. They also invite families to enjoy a fall festival, a winter wonderland, a spring egg hunt, and more.
The RoughRiders' staff actively participate in community initiatives through the RoughRiders Foundation, logging more than 1,000 volunteer hours last season alone. A few of their community programs are:
- CoServ Teacher of the Month Program (to honor educators)
- ‘Riders Classic Golf Tournament (to raise money for scholarships)
- The RoughRiders Healthy Fit Challenge (helping kids maintain a healthy lifestyle)
